Synthetics: The material of the upper includes a wide range of man-made fibres and laminates that are designed to overcome the limits of natural materials. It is a blend of isoprene rubber and special foam that is designed to absorb and dissipate the energy generated when the foot hits the ground. Rubber: It is one of the most widely used materials for the production of soles due to its high mechanical resistance and durability. The main advantage of rubber soles is their excellent grip (traction) on different types of surfaces, which minimises the risk of slipping. The material is naturally flexible, waterproof and effectively absorbs shocks during walking. Depending on the compound, the rubber can be either soft for better contact with the ground or hard for maximum abrasion resistance on rough terrain.
