The Veja Campo sneakers are the epitome of what the modern man is looking for in the 21st century - stylish and minimalist sneakers that are based on the principle of sustainability. Made entirely from eco-friendly and renewable materials, these sneakers are becoming a must-have piece for any fashion fan. Their uppers are made from 100% recycled plastic bottles and leather from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, which is produced without the use of heavy metals, chromium or other harmful acids. The distinctive V is made from rice waste and rubber, while the sole combines recycled Amazon rubber, rice waste and recycled rubber. ChromeFree leather: The bovine ChromeFree leather is smooth and light. Coming from farms located in the south of Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), it undergoes an innovative tanning process where no chrome, heavy metals or dangerous acids are involved. By simplifying the tanning process, the use of chemicals and energy is limited, the use of water is reduced by about 40% and the use of salt by 80%. After tanning, the water is recyclable.

Midsole
11% Recycled E.V.A: A greener version of conventional EVA foam, made from recycled material - such as manufacturing waste or old soles. It is mainly used in the midsoles and insoles of shoes, where it provides cushioning and comfort, but also helps to reduce the ecological footprint.
Sole
31% Amazonian rubber: Sourced from natural latex sustainably harvested in the Amazon rainforest. It is used in the soles of VEJA sneakers, supporting biodiversity and local communities while reducing the ecological footprint of shoe production.

The eco-friendly label
is used for products that are made using more environmently-friendly proceses which uses less water, energy and chemicals. Products with international certifications such as bluesign®, the 100 standard by OEKO-TEX® and MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® are placed under this label.
Recycled
Products with this label are made mostly of recycled materials mostly made from old waste such as plastic bottles and clothes. These products has smaller environmental footprint thanks to processing more waste materials than virgin materials.
