Puma Speedcat Ballet Nova
The lightweight elegance of ballet flats combined with the sporty silhouette of racing shoes defines the women's sneakers Puma Speedcat Ballet Nova, which you can wear from morning to evening without the feeling of a bulky shoe. The low, narrow shape in a delicate pink hue exudes femininity while maintaining a casual appeal. These sneakers are equally suitable for the office as they are for a weekend stroll through the city.
The upper is crafted from smooth leather, providing durability and adapting to the shape of your foot over time. Inside, the OrthoLite insole cushions each step pleasantly and remains comfortable even after a long day on your feet. The thin rubber outsole maintains close contact with the ground and gives the model its characteristic flat profile, inspired by motorsport footwear. You can pair the Speedcat Ballet Nova with straight jeans and a white t-shirt, or combine them with a midi skirt or light dress, where the ballet lines are most pronounced. Puma was founded in 1948 in Herzogenaurach, Germany, by Rudolf Dassler. The Speedcat model was originally created as a lightweight shoe inspired by racing drivers' footwear.
Puma Speedcat
Puma Speedcat motorsport-inspired silhouette from 1999
Introduced in 1999, the Puma Speedcat was originally designed as a shoe for professional racers and is still one of the brand's most iconic lifestyle sneakers. Its low-profile, aerodynamic silhouette is based on the shoes used in the Formula 1 paddock. The sneakers feature an ultra-thin rubber sole that provides maximum surface feel and a natural feel when walking. The soft suede upper perfectly hugs the foot, is lightweight, flexible and very stylish at the same time. The low cut around the ankle ensures freedom of movement and a sleek, sporty look.
The Puma Speedcat is designed for lovers of minimalist silhouettes, motorsport culture and anyone who wants to add a dash of racing energy to their urban outfit. They're suitable for everyday wear, leisure and evening styling - wherever you want to look clean, modern and confident.
Team them with straight or skinny jeans, a leather jacket or bomber for a motorsport vibe. They also go great with cargo pants, a simple T-shirt and a zip-up sweatshirt. For a sleeker streetwear style, opt for knitted trousers, an oversized shirt or minimalist monochrome outfits - the Speedcat adds an expressive sporty character to the whole look.
