Technology

DWR (Durable Water Repellent): A special coating on the material that increases its resistance to water. It works by reducing the surface tension of the fibres - the liquid does not soak into the fabric, but forms droplets on the surface that simply slide down. This keeps the outer layer of the garment dry and light, which is crucial for the proper functioning of the breathable membranes underneath. Although DWR is not a complete waterproof barrier, it reliably protects against drizzle and dirt. To maintain the effect, it is advisable to renew the treatment over time with special impregnation products.

PFC-free water-repellent treatment: Here you can be sure that in the production of this piece, no PFCs (perfluorinated compounds) were used, ensure the material's water repellency.
