Gant Reg Shield Hoodie

You will appreciate the comfortable hooded sweatshirt Gant Reg Shield Hoodie during moments when you desire pleasant warmth alongside a polished appearance that holds up even outside your home. The earthy shade of Burnt Grass exudes tranquility and pairs beautifully with neutral colors. The Reg Shield Hoodie model seamlessly blends sporty casualness with the understated elegance that Gant embodies.

This sweatshirt is crafted from a fleece material made from a blend of cotton and polyester. The cotton feels soft against the skin, while the polyester helps maintain its shape even after frequent wear. The regular fit with a round neckline allows ample space for a t-shirt or shirt underneath, and it can be easily slipped on over the head. The adjustable hood, elastic cuffs, and elastic hem keep warmth close to the body, while the kangaroo pocket provides a place for your hands or phone. The ensemble is completed with a logo embroidery featuring the Gant shield, after which the model is named. You can pair this sweatshirt with chinos or jeans and sneakers, and on cooler days, wear it under a coat or quilted vest. Gant was founded by Bernard Gant in 1949 in New Haven, Connecticut. It gained fame for its shirts and preppy style inspired by the collegiate environment of the East Coast.

Materials

Composition78% Cotton78% CottonThe most important natural textile raw material, which is obtained from the fruit of the cotton plant (Gossypium). It is a pure cellulose fibre that has been valued for millennia for its softness, breathability and versatility. In modern streetwear and sports fashion, it forms the basis for t-shirts, sweatshirts and premium denim. Thanks to its molecular structure, cotton can absorb large amounts of moisture without being wet to the touch and provides high comfort for all-day wear. / 22% Polyester22% Polyestera very strong synthetic fiber that boasts high heat resistance and excellent odor absorption
MaterialFleeceFleeceFleece is a highly popular functional knit made from fine polyester fibers. The brushing process creates a dense, soft pile on the surface that perfectly retains the heat produced by the body. The material is as light as a feather, flexible, and very pleasant to the touch. Because it is nearly water-repellent and dries quickly, it has become an indispensable warming layer for sports, hiking, and chilly winter days.

GANT: An American heritage that defines timeless style with modern flair

If you're looking for a brand that brings a balance between relaxed and unadulterated quality to your wardrobe, GANT is a safe bet. At Queens, we value this legend for its ability to fuse classic elements from college campuses with modern cuts that work perfectly in urban settings. GANT is no longer just about shirts for professors - it's a brand for anyone who grew up on streetwear but is now looking for pieces with added value and precision craftsmanship.

The story from Yale shirts to global icon

It all started in 1949 in New Haven, Connecticut, when Bernard Gantmacher began making shirts for students and professors at the prestigious Yale University. At the time, GANT introduced revolutionary features such as the functional locker loop on the back of the shirt and the iconic button-down collar. The brand became synonymous with "Ivy League" style and defined the visual identity of the American upper class. Over time, however, GANT has moved from campuses to the world, and is now a symbol of fashion that is unafraid of colour, boldness and, above all, durability.

Quality that survives trends

What sets GANT apart is its uncompromising focus on materials. From the premium cotton on our iconic GANT Archive logo sweatshirts to the soft wool sweaters and perfectly fitting chinos, you'll find pieces that will last with you for years in our Queens range. At thirty-five, you already know that comfort is key; so the cuts are designed not to restrict you, whether you're in a business meeting or spending the weekend with the family. GANT is about details that make a difference, and materials that look great after many washes.

How to wear GANT in a modern context?

Today's GANT is worn with ease and without being too fussy. It works great when paired with your favourite Queens trainers - try teaming a classic Oxford shirt with quality jeans, or throw on an iconic varsity jacket over a basic T-shirt. GANT is the perfect choice for those who embrace "smart casual" style with a subtle hint of a sporty aesthetic. It's a brand for people who no longer need to shout logos to show their taste. Choose your GANT piece here and invest in American history that makes perfect sense in a modern wardrobe.
